General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

General information and scope of application

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, these GTC apply to all transactions of the ALPINeMOTIONS association.

The association aims to promote sporting activities through active leisure activities in an exciting natural environment. ALPINeMOTIONS improves individual fitness, creates balance in everyday life, and motivates people to have fun with like-minded people.

The aim of ALPINeMOTIONS is to organize mountain, snow, and water activities in an alpine environment with qualified instructors. The association runs courses, day trips, and multi-day tours to teach sport-specific skills and improve individual techniques.

This also includes services such as teaching skiing and snowboarding skills and knowledge, without guaranteeing a specific level of success, as well as guiding and accompanying participants in winter sports, mountain biking, and stand-up paddleboarding.

Reservations made online are considered confirmed bookings.

The association only guarantees the service if payment has been made in full.

In principle, the activities take place in all weather conditions.

The association reserves the right to change, cancel, or terminate the program or individual services after conclusion of the contract and also during the activity if natural and/or weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, official and/or safety measures, or other risks) require this.

If the activity is canceled for the reasons mentioned above, a pro-rata refund will be made.

The association does not provide compensation for lost teaching time resulting from lift failures.

Group ski lessons

Group lessons are for children aged 4 and above. Lessons generally take place with a minimum of three people per skill level.

Booking

By registering, the customer accepts the terms and conditions.

Prices

The prices quoted are in Swiss francs. Course prices are VAT-free.

Registrations for ski and snowboard lessons are personal and non-transferable.

Five dates must be selected for group lessons.

Terms of payment

Payment must be made immediately after booking and no later than the start of the course.

Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the course or do not show up, the full course fee must be paid. Up to 10 days before the start of the course, 1/3 of the costs will be charged.

Refunds will only be made in the event of accident or illness upon presentation of a medical certificate from a local doctor.

Other events such as unfavorable weather conditions, closed access roads, train disruptions, etc. do not justify a refund.

In particular, there is no entitlement to a refund if:

• the activity cannot be carried out due to the customer's delay or non-appearance.

• the customer only starts an activity after its scheduled start time or leaves before it ends.

• the customer does not make use of individual (half) days in the case of bookings lasting several days (including children's group lessons).

Liability

ALPINeMOTIONS expressly excludes any liability for accidents during the booked leisure activity or any liability claims in connection with the services provided by the ALPINeMOTIONS association.

Insurance

Insurance (health and accident insurance, including sports accidents, etc.) is the responsibility of the participant.
